Growing up in Metamora, Illinois, Katlyn’s favorite place to go was at the historic Metamora Courthouse. The 1845 brick building on the town square is where Abraham Lincoln tried more than 70 cases throughout his practice and where Katlyn was inspired to become a lawyer.
She’s a recent graduate from Drake University Law School where she was involved in AAJ Mock Trial, served as president of the Student Bar Association, and was recognized with the Justice Daryl Hecht Award. Katlyn is a member of the Order of the Barristers, the Iowa State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
An outdoor enthusiast, you can often find her hiking, kayaking, or playing tennis. She also enjoys going to concerts, reading, and spending time with friends and Aphrodite, her Calico Cat.
Katlyn serves the firm as an attorney specializing in litigation and dispute resolution involving business and commercial, estate and trust, personal injury, and wrongful death; she also practices criminal law, estate planning, family law, corporate organizations & transactions, and probate & trust administration.
